It is the kind of sequence that suggests Friary Road is capable on its day but perhaps finding things a touch tougher right now.

The horse is trained by T.M. Walsh out of Kill in County Kildare, a yard that has sent out 6 winners already this season — a steady, productive operation rather than a headline-grabbing one.
