Most of her racing has come at Class 5 level, which is the bread-and-butter tier of British racing, and she has won 2 of her 12 races there — roughly 1 in every 6. She got off the mark at Chelmsford in October 2023, and the yard has been straightforward about where she fits: this is a horse that does her best work when conditions suit, and Sam England has made clear she wants soft, wet ground underfoot. That detail matters. On fast, dry ground she is not the same animal.

England trains out of Guiseley in West Yorkshire and has had a productive season, sending out 49 winners. He was candid after her most recent run — just one day ago — that Chelmsford was essentially a fitness run, that she needed it badly, and that the plan is to aim her at a fillies' race at Kempton on 5 May, weather permitting. The caveat about a dry spell is telling: if the ground stays firm, the trip may not happen. But England says she is in good form and has developed well as she has matured, which suggests he is not simply keeping her busy — there is a specific target in mind and a specific set of conditions he is waiting for.

Whether she can end that 21-month win drought at Kempton remains to be seen, but the pieces are at least being put in place. She arrives fit, placed recently, and with a trainer who knows exactly what she needs.
