Fifty Nifty

Trained by Martin Dunne at Newmarket, Fifty Nifty has shown real promise at his home track. He has won twice at Newmarket from nine races there, and his most recent victory came two weeks ago in a Class 2 race on 7 August 2026. His first win came at Great Yarmouth on 23 April 2024, a performance that caught his trainer off guard. Dunne said afterwards that while the horse had worked nicely at home, he wasn't expecting such a decisive victory—a slight surprise that suggested untapped potential. That win signaled something worth watching, and Fifty Nifty has since proved capable at the higher levels: he holds a win from six races at Class 2, showing he can mix it with better horses, even if not consistently.
