Everyonesgame

Trained by Andy Irvine out of Ashurstwood in East Sussex — a yard that has already sent out 4 winners this season — Everyonesgame has built his career steadily from the bottom up. His first win came at Doncaster in January 2022, and he has since climbed to win at Class 2 level, which in British racing terms means one of the better races on the calendar. That victory came at Worcester in June 2023, and it remains the high-water mark of a career that has been more solid than spectacular.

The ground matters with this horse. On slightly soft, wet going he has won 2 from 5 races — a 40% win rate, which is genuinely excellent — and comments from his trainer after a win at Hereford made it clear that drier conditions are where he is most at home. The trainer described him as "a proper decent ground horse" who could go on to better things on fast summer ground. That win came after a breathing operation which, by all accounts, transformed him — "it's amazing what a wind operation can do," was how it was put after the race. Surgery that improves a horse's airflow can sometimes unlock a level of performance that was always there but being suppressed.

His most productive partnership is with jockey Lilly Pinchin. Together they have won 3 from 6 races — exactly half their outings together — which is a remarkable hit rate and suggests the pair have a real understanding. His most recent win came at Kempton Park in November 2025, and his last six runs read 5-6-7-1-4-2: a horse who dipped in form, found the winner's enclosure again, then settled back into competitive placing. At Class 4, his most common level, he wins 3 from every 9 races (33%) — not flashy, but consistent enough to keep the yard coming back for more.
