The fact that Ervani is still being actively campaigned — racing as recently as yesterday — suggests the team believes there is a win in this horse somewhere, and they're actively searching for the right opportunity to find it.

Zero wins from three races might look modest on paper, but for a three-year-old in a powerful yard, it is far too early to draw conclusions. At this stage in a young horse's career, it's as much about learning as winning. Ervani has finished second once and shown enough to keep the yard interested. Whether a first win is imminent will depend on finding the right conditions and the right race — but with Burke pulling the strings, that search is at least in very capable hands.
