That breakthrough win came at Brighton on 7 August, and the timing matters: Enamored is still racing actively, which means the yard thinks there is more to come. Trainer Ed Dunlop, based at Newmarket, has had an excellent season with 39 winners already, so this is a horse in a yard that knows what it is doing. At two years old and with early success already in the bank, Enamored has the sort of record that suggests it will be a fixture on the racecourse through the autumn and into next year as it matures and faces stiffer tests. The real question now is whether that Brighton win was a sign of genuine ability or simply the horse catching an easier field—and the next few races will tell us which.
