Eminency

Windsor has become his spiritual home. He has won twice from five races there, which means he understands that track's particular rhythm in a way he does not always show elsewhere. His most recent win came at Chelmsford on 18 December 2025, a victory now seven months in the past. Since then, he has not found his way to the front, finishing fourth, third, fifth, fourth, seventh and seventh in his last six outings — a run that suggests he is either being challenged at tougher grades or that racing luck has simply deserted him. He raced just a day ago, so he remains an active prospect.

Marco Ghiani has been his regular pilot, though the partnership has not quite found magic: one win from six rides together. His trainer, Stuart Williams at Newmarket, has described him as a relaxed character who prefers faster, drier ground and has shown he can be competitive at distances between six and seven furlongs. Williams observed after one run that Eminency had nowhere to go in the race itself and expressed hope he would benefit from a more forgiving circumstance next time. With the right race, at the right track, and preferably back at Class 4 where his win rate jumps to 23 percent, Eminency still has winners in him — he just needs the pieces to align.
