His very first career win came at Windsor in July 2022, and he clearly took to the place from the start. Stuart Williams, who trains him at Newmarket and has sent out an impressive 69 winners already this season, has noted that Eminency is a laid-back character who likes to do things on his own terms. That easy-going temperament can occasionally work against him — Williams mentioned after an early-season run at Kempton that he had simply found himself with nowhere to go — but it also means he does not waste energy being difficult.

His most comfortable level is the Class 4 grade, one step below the top tier but still competitive racing. At that level he has won 3 of 13 races, or nearly 1 in every 4, which is a genuinely solid record and suggests he is very much at home there rather than being outclassed or slumming it. Williams prefers him on faster, dry ground and says he is versatile over six or seven furlongs, which gives the yard options when planning a campaign.

His most recent win came at Chelmsford in December 2025, and his last six runs have produced a couple of placed efforts alongside some quieter days — but he raced just yesterday, which tells you everything about how active and sound he remains.
