Her recent form reads 3-1-–-4-3-1, starting from her most recent race going backwards, and the picture it paints is of a horse who has found top gear at just the right moment. She won last week at Tramore on 30 May, and before that she had won at Limerick — two wins in the space of just a couple of days in late May, which is a punishing schedule for any horse and a sign the team had real confidence in her. Her first career win came at Limerick on 29 May 2025, so in a sense her story has come full circle.

The jockey Carl Millar, speaking after one of her runs at Kilbeggan, noted that she had been a little unsettled at the start — but put it down simply to the unusual surroundings of the stabling setup nearby, rather than any temperamental issue. He was emphatic about her ability: the way she jumps and travels, he said, suggested she was still improving. That combination — a horse who is still learning, still getting better, and already winning at this clip — is exactly what makes Emily Love worth watching. Whatever comes next, she heads into it on the back of a win and in the kind of form that suggests she is not done yet.
