Elouise's Prince

The first win came at Wolverhampton in October 2024, and the most recent was at Lingfield Park on 7th February this year — so Elouise's Prince is no stranger to the indoor, all-weather tracks that keep British racing going through the winter months. Lingfield in particular suits horses that handle sharp bends and a slick surface, and winning there two months ago is a mark in its favour. The horse raced just one day ago, which means it is bang in form and being kept busy by Luke Dace's yard in Billingshurst, West Sussex — a small operation that has still managed six winners this season.

Jude Fernandes is the regular jockey, though the partnership hasn't always clicked: one win from six races together at around 17%, or roughly one in six, is modest. The recent form figures — a ninth, an eleventh, a non-finish, then fourth, first, and seventh reading from furthest back — tell a story of inconsistency, with that February win sitting as a bright spot in an otherwise patchy run. The horse clearly has ability on its day, but finding that day reliably is the challenge. At four years old, there is still room to improve, and with a trainer willing to keep it active, the next win might not be far away.
