Elevating

The horse broke through for its first win at Sandown Park last week, and that early victory matters more than raw statistics might suggest. Getting a young horse to win is the whole point of the early stages of a racing career, and doing it at a proper track like Sandown shows the horse has the ability to handle a real test. Elevating is trained by Richard Hannon, whose yard at Herridge in Wiltshire has been exceptionally successful this season with 118 winners already, so the horse is in capable hands. With regular racing and a trainer who knows how to develop young talent, Elevating looks like it has room to grow and could be worth following over the coming months.
