The horse is trained by Owen Burrows at his Lambourn yard, which has been in decent form this season with 30 winners already on the board. That kind of output suggests a well-run operation capable of placing horses where they have a chance, and it is worth keeping an eye on what races Burrows targets next with this youngster. Having raced just yesterday, Eben Al Khawaneej is clearly an active campaign in progress — the team evidently believe there is more to come.

Two races is simply not enough to draw firm conclusions. A three-year-old finishing fourth and sixth is neither a disaster nor a revelation — it is a horse still finding its feet, trained by someone who clearly knows how to develop young talent. The next few outings will tell us a great deal more.
