Both of her wins arrived in a tight five-week window over the winter of 2024-25 — first at Uttoxeter on New Year's Eve, then at Lingfield Park on 31 January 2025. Since that Lingfield win, now fifteen months ago, she has not managed to find the winner's enclosure in six attempts, though her recent form (two second places sandwiched around a fourth) suggests she is running well enough without quite getting there. That can be a frustrating pattern to follow, but it also means she is not embarrassing herself — she is just waiting for the right opportunity to click.

Her partnership with Sean Bowen is arguably her best asset. Bowen, one of the most sought-after jump jockeys in Britain, has ridden her in 10 of her 16 races and has won on her twice — a win rate of 1 in every 5 (20%), which is meaningfully better than her overall record. When Bowen is booked, there is genuine reason to pay attention. She has spent most of her career competing at Class 4 level, winning once from nine attempts there (roughly 1 in 9, or 11%) — solid rather than spectacular, and a sign she is a horse who belongs at that level without dominating it.

She is trained by Olly Murphy at his yard in Wilmcote, Warwickshire, and that context matters. Murphy's team has sent out 146 winners already this season — that is a yard firing on all cylinders, with the infrastructure and firepower to place horses in races they can win. Eaton Anne raced just yesterday, which means she is as active as they come right now. Whether that busy schedule is building towards something or simply keeping her ticking over, there is clearly a plan being worked. At eight, she is not getting younger, but she is very much still in the game.
