Michael Mulvany's yard at Kells, in County Meath, has sent out 19 winners this season, and Duke Of Leggagh remains part of that operation. He loves Naas, where he has won twice from seven attempts. His most recent victory came at Bellewstown on 1 October 2025, though his current run of form—finishing 16th, 16th, 9th, 7th, 5th and 1st across his last six races—suggests he is inconsistent and may be winding down. Interestingly, his regular rider Wesley Joyce has never won on him in 13 attempts, which raises the question of whether a change of jockey might spark something different. For now, Duke Of Leggagh remains a useful horse for a smaller Irish yard, the kind that gives honest days out and wins the occasional race when the mud flies.
