Trained by Richard Hannon at his Herridge yard in Wiltshire, Dover Street is part of a stable enjoying a strong season, with 118 winners sent out so far. Hannon is a horseman who knows how to develop young talent, and the recent form is worth noting: a second, then another second, then a fifth just yesterday. That last run may have been a step back, but the two placings before it suggest the horse is competitive at its current level and capable of running well in the races it enters.
