That sole victory came at Southwell on 21 November 2025, and it is the foundation everything else is being built on. Southwell is a floodlit all-weather track in Nottinghamshire, and while it is not the most glamorous venue in British racing, winning anywhere as a young horse matters. It tells you the horse can handle pressure, can be asked a question, and can answer it.

The recent form reading of 18-3-1 tells an interesting story. The 1 is that Southwell win, the 3 is a place, and the 18 is a run somewhere back in the pack — suggesting there was an early race where things did not click, before the horse found its stride. With the yard having clearly found conditions and a track that suit, the puzzle now is whether Domina Ignis can build on that and climb the ladder.

The yard behind her is worth noting. Kevin Philippart De Foy trains out of Newmarket — the heartland of British flat racing — and has sent out 40 winners already this season. That is a stable that knows what it is doing and is not short of ammunition. A horse coming through that operation with a clean placed record and a win already banked is clearly thought of, even if nothing has been confirmed publicly. With a race just yesterday, this is a horse very much in motion right now.
