Recent form makes for tough reading: a fourth place is the best result across the last six runs, with finishes of seventh, ninth, and eighth scattered in between. That ninth and eighth suggest there have been days where things simply haven't clicked. With a race just yesterday, this is a horse very much in active training and still being given chances to turn things around.
The one genuinely encouraging note here is who is doing the sending out. Gavin Cromwell's yard in Navan, Co. Meath, is one of the more productive operations in Irish racing, having sent out 97 winners already this season — a prolific output that means Cromwell isn't short of options, and if Doing It In Style keeps getting a run, there's clearly something the team believes in. Whether that faith is eventually rewarded remains the open question. For now, the name is still more of an aspiration than a statement of fact.
