Dancing Saxon's most recent victory came at Galway five weeks ago, and he has raced since, finishing second and third in his last two runs. The form line reads 2-3-1, which means he has run three times in recent weeks and only once failed to place. That kind of consistent near-misses can be frustrating, but it also suggests the horse is knocking on the door. He raced just a day ago, so he is clearly still very much in work and clearly still competitive enough for his the yard to keep him active. At three years old, there is still time for Dancing Saxon to develop further, but right now he is a horse in form with a clear distance preference and a yard that knows how to train a winner.
