The trainer behind this promising start is Joseph Patrick O'Brien, operating out of Owning Hill in Co Kilkenny. To put the yard's current form in perspective, they have sent out 160 winners already this season — that is not a yard that sends horses out unprepared. When a stable operating at that level takes a two-year-old to Roscommon and it wins first time out, it tends to mean the team at home had already seen something worth backing.

With only two races on the clock and a run just yesterday, Dancing Destiny is very much a horse at the beginning of the story. The recent form reads 3-1 — a third place followed by that debut win — and at this stage of a young horse's career, even a placing on the first outing is considered a decent result.
