It found its best form on the biggest local stage, which says something about its temperament under pressure. The sweet spot in terms of distance is between a mile and one furlong and a mile and two furlongs, where Crypto Force has won 2 of just 5 races — that is a 40% win rate, remarkable by any measure and a clear signal that when conditions align, this horse can be genuinely competitive. Trainer Robson De Aguiar, based in Mullingar, County Westmeath, has sent out 11 winners this season, suggesting a yard in decent form, even if Crypto Force itself has not contributed to that tally recently.

The honest part of the picture is that Crypto Force has not won in its last six races, and recent form — finishing thirteenth twice, and out of the placings entirely in one run — suggests it is currently some way below its best.
