The most recent form is a little patchy — finishing 12th, 12th, 10th, and 8th in four of its last six outings — but there was a win at Southwell in October 2025, just seven months ago, so the ability is still there. Trainer Scott Dixon, based just down the road in Rolleston, has had a productive season with 33 winners from the yard, which suggests the operation is in decent health. Regular jockey Dale Swift has ridden Create in 9 of its races together, winning once — 1 from 9 is modest, but the partnership keeps being renewed, which says something about the confidence the team has in that combination. The next time Create lines up at Southwell over a mile or so, it pays to take notice.
