Trainers don't always spell out why a break happens, but when a two-year-old with placed form disappears for the best part of a season, it often means the team has been patient — letting the horse mature, strengthen, and come back better. The yard behind this horse is worth noting. Daniel and Claire Kubler operate out of Lambourn — one of the most storied training centres in British racing, a village in the Berkshire Downs where horses have been trained for over two centuries.
