Standard ground is where the horse thrives. On normal racing conditions, it has won two of nine races—roughly 22%, a figure that climbs sharply when Wexford's particulars align. At higher levels, the horse struggles to compete; it has never won when stepped up to Class 5 company, a reminder that Chosen Shant operates best in the lower reaches of the sport. Still, an active ten-year-old that can still deliver victories at its favoured track, ridden regularly by a jockey who understands it, remains something worth following. Longevity in racing is rare.
