Her last victory came at Down Royal seven weeks ago, and her form over the past six races shows a horse that is regularly in the money: second, 14 lengths back, first, fourth, second, and a gap suggesting she hasn't raced in the last day or so. That's the record of a reliable campaigner who turns up and gives a decent account of herself most days. Mark Fahey's Cloneygath yard, which has sent out 24 winners already this season, clearly knows what it is doing with her.

The puzzle is why she is not winning more often given her demonstrated class at the right trip. But there is nothing dramatic or concerning in any of this. She is simply a horse that has matured into a consistent performer at a mid-tier level, one that the yard will be confident in running whenever the conditions and the opposition shape up right. For a four-year-old still actively racing and still improving in her preferred distances, that is a solid foundation.
