The story so far reads cleanly: a first win at Navan back in December 2025, a placed effort in between, and then a victory at Fairyhouse just this week — on 6th April 2026, less than 24 hours ago. Winning at two different tracks suggests this isn't a horse that needs everything to fall perfectly in its favour at one particular venue. It travels, it performs, it wins. At this stage, that versatility is worth more than it might sound.
Behind all of this is Gordon Elliott, one of the most formidable operations in Irish racing. Based at Longwood in County Meath, Elliott's yard has already sent out 209 winners this season alone — a volume of success that reflects an organisation running at the very top of its game. Having a trainer of that calibre in your corner matters enormously, particularly for a young horse still working out what it can become. Elliott knows how to place horses shrewdly, find the right races, and manage a horse's development without burning it out early.
Charismatic Kid is unfinished business in the best possible sense. Three races is a tiny sample, but what it has shown in those three outings — consistency, a winning instinct, and the ability to back up a previous win — points to a horse with real potential. The next few months will be fascinating.
