Her career has an interesting backstory baked into the facts. That is easier said than delivered — racing calendars do not bend to weather forecasts — and for much of her early career she was racing on conditions that simply did not suit her. When the skies finally obliged at The Curragh in April 2026, she thrived. O'Brien describes the conditions that day as brutal. For Celestial Orbit, they were perfect.

O'Brien's yard is operating at serious volume this season — 154 winners already — and he clearly knows what he has here. After the Curragh win he spoke openly about the horse's future, including the possibility she might be sent to stud rather than raced on, though that decision appears to still be up in the air. What is not up in the air is that he already has her aimed at a Group 2 race on Guineas weekend, one of the most prestigious fixtures on the Irish racing calendar.

Her regular partner in the saddle is Jamie Spencer, and together they have won 2 of their 5 races — 40% of the time, which is a formidable record at this level. Spencer is a jockey known for his patience and tactical intelligence, qualities that suit a horse who apparently needs things to fall right for her. Her recent form reads 1-4-7-2-1-1 — two disappointing runs sandwiched between victories, then a big effort, then back-to-back wins. The dip in the middle likely reflects conditions that did not suit. When the ground comes up heavy, the picture looks very different indeed.
