There is almost nothing to go on here yet — Cavalier hasn't set foot on a racecourse. What we do know is that this two-year-old comes from an interesting bloodline: sired by
Minzaal, a sprinter who was among the quickest horses in Britain during his own racing career, and out of a mare by Brazen Beau, an Australian speed influence. Both sides of the family tree point firmly towards pace, which suggests Cavalier is likely to be asked to race over short distances, at least to begin with. Whether that breeding translates into ability on the track is a question only racing will answer.
