The first win came at Wolverhampton on 22 July 2025, followed by another victory at Catterick Bridge on 1 October that same year. Since that Catterick success eleven months ago, though, the horse has not found the winner's circle, a drought that is reflected in recent form. Looking at its last six races, there is little to suggest a return to winning ways is imminent: a second place last time out, followed by finishes of eighth, seventh, ninth, and sixth. Only once in those six outings did Campenaerts manage to place, and it raced just a day ago, suggesting the yard—Jonathan Portman's operation at Upper Lambourn in Berkshire—is keeping it active in search of another opportunity.

Portman's yard has been sending out winners at a healthy clip this season with 46 victories to its name, so there is competence in the stable. For Campenaerts, the challenge now is rediscovering the form that earned those two wins. It remains a horse best suited to modest company, and if the yard can find the right Class 5 opportunity, the record suggests it can still deliver.
