Bury Your Past

Bury Your Past is a four-year-old trained by Gearoid O'Loughlin at Dunshaughlin in County Meath. The horse made its debut just a day ago and finished eighth, which gives it nowhere to go but up. With one race under its belt and nothing to lose, this is genuinely the beginning of the story—there is no form to judge yet, only potential. O'Loughlin's yard has had a winner this season already, so there is at least some firepower in the stable. Whether Bury Your Past will develop into a regular racer or prove to be a one-off runner remains to be seen, but that first outing is done, and the next opportunity will tell us far more.
