Blueaway

Trained by Matt Crawley out of Newmarket, one of the most competitive training centres in the country, Blueaway is surrounded by professionals who clearly know what they are doing — the yard has sent out four winners already this season. The question is whether they can find the right race to finally unlock something in this horse. Newmarket trainers tend to be patient and methodical, and four winners from a yard in a single season is a decent return, so there is no reason to write off Crawley's judgement here.

At three years old, Blueaway is still young and still learning. Some horses take time to find their feet, and racing just one day ago means this is very much an active project. Whether improvement is around the corner or the current form simply reflects the horse's level, the next few races will tell us a great deal.
