Believe Again

The most recent form shows a seventh-place finish just a day ago, sandwiched between a 14th-place run before that and a 17th earlier in the sequence. There was one race in between where no result is recorded. These are not the returns that suggest imminent success, but they do show the horse is racing regularly and getting chances to prove itself. At five years old, Believe Again still has time to learn and improve, though by now most horses have at least registered a win. The single place finish remains the high water mark — a glimpse of being in contention but not quite enough to get over the line. Whether that signals a horse close to breaking through or one whose level has simply been found remains to be seen, but the consistency of racing suggests the yard are still confident enough to keep saddling up.
