Beach Partee

The horse's breakthrough came at Brighton on 15 September 2025, and from there managed victories at Lingfield Park on 25 November 2025 and one other outing. The problem is timing: that last win came nine months ago, and the most recent six races have brought nothing but disappointment, with finishes of third, third, eighth, second, fourth, and fourth. Recent form like that can wear away at a horse's reputation, even if there are signs of life in the second and fourth-place efforts. What matters now is whether Beach Partee can recapture that earlier winning touch or whether the current losing run has become a habit.

The one genuine bright spot is the partnership with jockey Luke Morris. When they have teamed up, the results have been sharp: three wins from eight races together, which is a 38 per cent win rate—vastly better than the horse's overall win rate. That kind of working relationship is worth money in racing, and it suggests the horse runs best for this rider. Trainer Scott Dixon, based at Rolleston in Nottinghamshire, has been sending out 33 winners this season, so the yard is functioning well, and the horse tends to run best on normal ground, winning 2 of its 9 races on such surfaces. Most of Beach Partee's wins have come in Class 6 races, where it has won 2 of 8 attempts. These are not elite-level victories, but they are genuine wins nonetheless. The question now is whether Beach Partee can find the winning post again before the losing streak becomes impossible to shake.
