Richard Deegan, the horse's most regular rider with 7 races together, has never tasted victory aboard. That partnership does not seem to be clicking.

Terence O'Brien's Carrigtoohill yard in Cork has had a respectable season with 10 winners sent out, so the trainer does know how to get horses to the front. For Barryroe Madam, though, that magic has not worked.
