The most striking number in Atomic Force's record is the one from Happy Valley: three wins from 25 races at that single track. At first glance, three wins from 25 sounds modest, but the sheer number of times this horse has returned to the same course tells its own story — Happy Valley was clearly a hunting ground, a place where the team clearly felt Atomic Force could compete. That's where the career began too, with a first win in March 2023, and the horse has kept going back ever since.

More recently, though, Atomic Force has been making noise closer to home. A win at Chelmsford on 21 February 2026 was a Class 2 race — one of the top races in Britain — which means this wasn't a soft touch. Two wins from the last six races is a form line that would turn heads in any yard, and the recent runs of 3-11-1-1 suggest a horse that has hit a purple patch rather than a lucky one-off. In fact, Atomic Force raced just one day ago, which tells you the horse is fit, active, and right in the middle of a campaign.

Normal ground conditions suit Atomic Force well — two wins from just six races on a standard surface works out at 33%, or roughly 1 in every 3. That's a striking figure for any horse, and it suggests the team are very good at picking the right days to run.

The partnership with jockey Harry Bentley is worth noting too. Three wins from 19 races together works out at around 16%, or roughly 1 in every 6 — slightly better than the horse's overall rate, which suggests the two have developed something of an understanding. The trainer, Edward Bethell, operates out of Middleham in North Yorkshire and has had 62 winners already this season — a yard clearly in fine form. With Atomic Force racing at the top end of the class system and winning, this is a horse right at its peak.
