Assiri Heights is a three-year-old still hunting for a breakthrough after two races without a win or place finish. The horse's recent form — finishes of sixth and ninth — suggests it is finding its current level competitive, though with only two runs under its belt there is plenty of time for improvement. Trained by Andrew Balding at Kingsclere in Hampshire, Assiri Heights is in the hands of one of Britain's most successful yards; Balding's operation has sent out 202 winners already this season, a sign of the quality and consistency his team produces.
