Arthurian is a two-year-old still finding his feet on the racecourse, with one race completed and a second run just yesterday. So far he has not won, though he did pick up a place from his opening two races — most recently finishing sixth, with a second-place finish before that.
Andrew Balding trains him at Kingsclere in Hampshire, a yard that has been in prolific form this season, sending out 202 winners. With Arthurian being so early in his career and competing in an environment where the trainer clearly knows how to develop young horses, there is time for the picture to come into focus.
