Argenteus is a three-year-old still hunting for his first win after two races without a place. He has finished eleventh and seventh in his two outings so far — decent enough starts for a young horse still learning the game, but nothing to get excited about yet. His trainer,
David Menuisier, who works from Pulborough in West Sussex, has had a productive season with 20 winners already sent out from the yard, so Argenteus will have the benefit of an experienced eye as he continues to find his feet. Having raced just a day ago, he is active and will have further opportunities to break his duck soon.
