Amma Lord

The recent form makes for difficult reading. Looking at the last six outings, Amma Lord has recorded finishes of fourth, fourth, and fifth, with the dashes indicating races where no finishing position was recorded — likely non-completions. Not a single victory to point to, and the level at which this is happening is not elite. Class 4 is mid-table racing at best, the kind of level where horses are expected to be competitive without being stars, yet Amma Lord has drawn a blank across all four attempts at that grade.

Trainer Miss Lucy Brown's yard has sent out just one winner this season, so this is not a powerhouse operation used to flooding the winner's enclosure. Amma Lord raced as recently as yesterday, so the yard — the trainer and team — are clearly keeping the horse active and looking for that elusive breakthrough. Whether it comes is another question entirely.
