Tinkler plans to run him on the all-weather surface before sending him to a horses-in-training sale — and crucially, he's considering schooling him over jumps beforehand to attract interest from jumping trainers. The fact that his own trainer might try to buy him back at the sale speaks volumes. You don't do that with a horse you've written off.
