Two wins from just 3 races at that track is extraordinary — most horses race at a course ten or fifteen times before building that kind of dominance. It's the sort of record that makes you sit up and pay attention any time Carlisle appears on the schedule. That first win there came back in August 2022, and it clearly left an impression.

Conditions don't seem to slow Albeseeingyer down much either. On normal ground it has won 2 from 5 races, which is a 40% win rate — remarkably high. On wet or muddy ground, it goes even better: 2 wins from just 4 races, a 50% conversion. That's winning every other time the ground gets soft, which tells you this is a horse that doesn't make excuses.

The partnership with jockey Dougie Costello is the most familiar one in this horse's career, with 12 races together producing 2 wins — roughly 1 in every 6. That's a shade below the horse's overall win rate, which suggests there may be combinations out there that suit it even better, though Costello clearly knows the horse well enough to place regularly.

The honest caveat is that Albeseeingyer hasn't won in six races now, with its last victory coming at Newmarket in August 2024 — nearly 21 months ago. The recent form figures of 5-2-10-8-10-3 show a horse still capable of placing but not quite finding the finishing kick it needs. Hollinshead's yard has sent out 7 winners this season, so the operation is in decent form. Whether Albeseeingyer can rediscover that winning feeling — especially if the road leads back to Carlisle — is the question worth watching.
