The quick turnaround tells you something about the confidence the yard has in the horse, and about its resilience. Most horses would need time to settle after a win; Agrippa went straight back to work. That recent second place suggests the horse is genuine, not a one-race wonder.
Agrippa runs for R Hannon at Herridge in Wiltshire, a yard that has sent out 118 winners this season alone — solid, no-nonsense training at a serious operation. The horse is still very young and still learning what it takes to win races, but one debut win, a place in each of its two subsequent starts, and the speed with which it has been campaigned all point to a horse the yard believes in. Where this one goes from here will depend on whether it can translate that early promise into consistent form as it matures, but for now, Agrippa is worth watching.
