The highlight so far came at Royal Ascot on 20 June 2025, where Adrestia won a Class 2 race — one of the top races in Britain. Ascot during its famous summer festival is about as high-profile as British racing gets, a week when the stands are packed and the competition is stiff. Winning there at Class 2 level is a serious achievement, and it confirms that Adrestia can handle a big occasion when it matters. It was a full 11 months on from her first career win at Great Yarmouth in July 2024 — a much more modest stage — which makes the Ascot win feel like a genuine step forward in her development.

That said, recent form shows she has found it harder to reproduce that peak. Her last six runs read 7-6-2-2-4-1, meaning she has run well into the places on a couple of occasions but has also had some quieter efforts. At Class 2 level — the grade she typically enters — she has won just 1 from 5 races, or 20%. That is about 1 in every 5, which is solid rather than dominant, and suggests she can compete at this level without always threatening to win it.

Behind her is the Newmarket yard of Simon and Ed Crisford, one of the more productive training operations in Britain right now. Sending out 79 winners in a single season is a significant output — it speaks to a yard with depth, organisation, and the horses to keep the scoreboard ticking. Adrestia is part of a team that clearly knows how to get a horse ready to run well, which is worth something when assessing whether she is likely to continue competing at this level. She raced just one day ago, so she is fit, active, and very much a horse to keep an eye on as the summer progresses.
